The "Quid Pro Quo"
CD was given a standard release in the UK yesterday (following the
Tesco only exclusive release in May). The double CD included
the bonus 'live' tracks "Paper Plane" and "Softer Ride" but omitted
"In The Army Now (2010)".

today

The release date for the
"Better Than That" download only single is to be the 28th November.
The live recordings of "Two Way Traffic" and "Let's Rock" (recorded
at the the Cornbury Festival on the 3rd July this year) are to be
included as part of the the download.
30th October
The "Quid Pro Quo"
double vinyl album is to be released through the HMV website on the
31st October.
21st October
The next single is to be "Better Than That".
Promo copies have been manufactured with live versions of "Two Way
Traffic" and "Let's Rock" as the bonus tracks.

4th September
A five Quo CD set with
the title "5 Original Albums" is to be released in
November
(Mercury 0600753355633). The set includes "12 Gold Bars" and the
re-mastered "In The Army", "Hello!", "On The Level" and "Blue For
You" CD albums.
3rd September
The latest issue of the
FTMO magazine was posted out to fan club members this week -
the focus of the magazine was Andy Bown's new solo album.
2nd September
Quo's live appearance at
Montreaux festival in 2009 is to be re-issued by Eagle Vision on blu-ray
in November (previously the concert was available as part of the
'Pictures' release in October 2009).
26th August
A budget Quo compilation - with the title "Rockin'
All Over The World The Collection" - is due to be released by
Spectrum Music on the 26th September.
20th August
"Quid Pro Quo" is to be released as a double
vinyl album - with the studio album and the bonus 'live' album - on
the 5th September. The album set includes the two 'live'
tracks ("Paper Plane" and "Softer Ride") that had previously been
exclusive to the 'Collectors' edition of the album.

week at the number 24 position in the UK chart.

"Quid Pro Quo" entered
the German charts at the number 13 position.
7th June
Eagle records are to
release the CD "Pictures - Live At Montreux 2009" (EAGCD466) on the
22nd August. The album has the same track listing as the bonus
CD from the deluxe DVD release from October 2009.

Yet another copy of the
cancelled 7" single "Fakin' The Blues" has been sold on the Ebay auction website.
The single was sold for £1,971 (2,216 euros).

A copy of Quo's

Ebay auction website for £1,131 (1,271 euros) yesterday.

Universal Music are
planning to release anniversary delux CD versions of the "Piledriver"
and the "Status Quo Live!" albums. With the "Piledriver" CD to
include "Don't Waste My Time" from the Reading Festival in 1973 and
the BBC radio sessions from 1972 and 1973 and the "Status Quo Live!"
CD to include the recordings from the "Tokyo Quo" 'live' album.
2nd May
Details for the new album - "Quid Pro Quo" -
were published on the Official Quo website in April.
The album is being released on the 30th May in the UK through Tesco
Entertainment - with a limited edition collectors version also
available (including a vinyl album and bonus CD tracks). The
album is being released outside of the UK by Edel records on the
27th May. A preview song - "Rock 'n' Roll 'n' You" - from the
album is available as a free download. A promo CD with the
song has also been pressed

A copy of the band's
debut album "Picturesque Matchstickable Messages From The Status
Quo" from 1968 was sold yesterday on the Ebay auction website for
£400 (460 Euros).

The "Under The Influence" CD album is to be
re-issued in Germany in April by Edel records.
2nd March
A new Quo compilation CD
called "Performance" is due to be released by Southworld (SW0019CD)
on the 14th April. The CD is made up of 'live' songs from the
Butlins Minehead anniversary concert in October 1990.
19th February
'Starboulevard' a new Quo double CD set
compilation has been released in Germany this month through the
Rossmann chain of shops

A brilliant video of Quo playing an edited
version of "Is It Really Me?" / "Gotta Go Home"
