The latest issue of the FTMO magazine was sent to members of
the fan club this week. The magazine included an update from
the band members and part 1 of a Bob Young 'memorabilia' article.
15th October
Quo's "Dog Of Two Head" album is to be re-issued on the 23rd
October. The release, by the Music On Vinyl label (MOVLP2733),
is on coloured vinyl - with 1,500 individually numbered copies.
14th September
The "Essential" 3 CD budget compilation is now at the number 47
position in the UK album charts (after entering the chart at the
number 28 position).
7th September
The latest issue of the FTMO magazine was sent to members of
the fan club last week. The magazine featured Rhino and
includes two very informative interviews with him.
14th August
Quo's first album "Picturesque Of Matchstickable Messages From
The Status Quo" is to be re-issued as a double LP set with 'mono'
and 'stereo' recordings on the 18th September (although it was
later put back to the 2nd October). The release, by
the Music On Vinyl label (MOVLP2731), is on coloured vinyl - with
2,000 individually numbered copies

Record Collector magazine are issuing a Quo special on the 10th
September

Yet another 3 CD budget priced box set with the title 'Essential' is to be issued by Spectrum Music. This
compilation is due to be released on the 28th August

A copy of the Japanese bootleg Picture Disc of
the "On The Level" album was sold for £435
(€478) on Ebay yesterday

A great illustrated guide to all Quo's UK singles is available
from a new website
(click here). As well as pictures of all the band's UK
singles, the website includes a fantastic selection of music press
reviews and adverts.
9th June
Quo's "Ma Kelly's Greasy Spoon" album, originally released in 1970,
is being re-issued on the 29th August for 'Record Store Day'.
The album is being pressed on yellow and white 'fried egg' vinyl and
is limited to 750 copies.
8th June

Universal Music are due to release the next batch of deluxe albums
on the 6th March - "Thirsty Work" (a 2 CD set), "Rock 'Til You
Drop" (a 3 CD set) and "Perfect Remedy" (a 3 CD set). The
highlights are "Perfect Remedy" which includes a previously
un-released 'live' album recorded in Birmingham in December 1989 and
"Rock 'Til You Drop" which includes enhanced audio from the four
'RTYD' mini concerts.
