Japanese Albums
Here is everything we know about the Quo vinyl albums released in Japan. For many collectors, Japanese issues take pride of place in their collections, due to the good quality vinyl pressings, extra lyric sheets, "Nagaoka" anti-static sleeves (curved at one end) and the classic OBI strips. There are also promo versions available for some releases. These can be identified by additional text on the labels in a rectangular box. Here is an example from the "Dog of Two Head" reissue:-
One noticable omission in the sequence of classic albums is "Never Too Late". It appears that this was not released in Japan for some reason, but if that is untrue and you actually have a copy, then please share! We have not included the various fake picture discs that are sometimes seen on auction sites claiming to be "Japanese Limited Editions". Special thanks to Tony Jones for his help with the promo labels.
