20th December A new Quo compilation CD called "Best" (Zounds Music 2700020144) has been issued in Germany (click here to see picture).

2nd December The "Just Doin' It! - Live" DVD is now number 9 in the UK Music DVD & Video chart.

1st December  Several retailers are offering to replace the bonus CD (issued with a mono sound) included with the "Just Doin' It! - Live" Limited Edition DVD set - for a stereo version.

17th November The "Just Doin' It! - Live" DVD is number 4 in the UK Music DVD & Video chart.

6th November The "Just Doin' It! - Live" DVD was released today.

27th October  Copies of the limited edition version of the Bob Young's book have been posted out.

26th October  A new bootleg DVD has been manufactured in Europe - "The Sparring Ain't Over Yet" features the Basel show in November 2005 and the band's appearance at Alton Towers in June 2004 (click here to see picture).  

20th October  The latest issue of the FTMO fan club magazine has been published.

7th October  Details of the bonus CD included with the limited edition version of the "Just Doin' It! - Live" DVD have been announced.  The track listing is:- Caroline / Something 'Bout You Baby I Like / Don't Waste My Time / 4500 Times / Rain / Hold You Back / The Party Aint Over Yet / Roll Over Lay Down / Down Down / Whatever You Want / Rockin' All Over The World / Burning Bridges.

23rd September  The latest German re-issue of the "Under The Influence" CD was released yesterday (click here to see picture).  

20th September  The "Just Doin' It! - Live" DVD (from Quo's concert in Birmingham in May) is also to be issued as a limited edition set - including a bonus 'live' 12 song CD.  The release date is the 6th November.

15th September  "The One And Only" DVD is number 5 in the UK Music DVD chart.

14th September  More news on the the 40th Anniversary book.  The regular edition is to be published at the end of September - with the limited edition version being available from the end of October.

15th August  Another German re-issue for the "Under The Influence" CD is due on the 22nd September.

14th August  The  release date for "The One And Only" DVD is now to be the 4th September.

10th August  The track listing for the forthcoming "Just Doin' It! - Live" DVD (filmed at Quo's Birmingham gig in May earlier this year) is shown on the play.com website (click here for details).  The DVD is due to be released on the 6th November by Warner Music Vision (click here to see picture).  

9th August  A new Quo DVD - "The One And Only" - is due to be released on the 21st August.  The DVD includes Live footage from 2002, The Granada TV show from 1970, Live in Germany 1982 and the TOTP2 Quo Special from 2000 (click here for more details).

5th August  A 2 CD Quo compilation - "The Best" - was issued through the German MediaMarkt supermarket group in Germany last month (click here to see picture).  

22nd July  The track listing for the bonus CD with the forthcoming limited edition copy of the 40th Anniversary book was announced yesterday (click here for full details).

12th July  The  40th Anniversary book is now due to be issued in the middle of October - with advance copies being available from September.

1st July Another re-issue of "The Essential Status Quo Volume One" CD has been issued.  This one with the title "Alle Tiders - Rockin' All Over The World" (Universal UMD 983 918 9) is available through the Danish Superbrugsen supermarket (click here to see picture).  

17th June A re-issue of "The Essential Status Quo Volume One" CD (without "The Wanderer") from 1999 has been issued through Morrisons with the title "The Quo Collection Part 1" (United UTD064) click here to see picture.  

14th June A new 2 CD Quo compilation - with the title "Down The Dustpipe" - is due to be released by Sanctuary (PDSCD650) on the 31st July.

11th June A vinyl copy of the "Thirsty Work" album has been sold for 72 (105) on E-Bay this week.

10th June The 'A Day In The Life' documentary DVD originally due to be released in July last year has now been cancelled.

1st June The release date for the "The Status Quo Story" CD has again been put back - this time until the 19th June.

25th May  The release date for the "The Status Quo Story" 2 CD has been put back until the 5th June (click here to see picture).

22nd May  Quo's set list for the gig in Birmingham last night was - Caroline / Something 'Bout You Baby I Like / Don't Waste My Time / 4500 Times / Rain / Hold You Back / All Stand Up / The Oriental / Creeping Up On You / Mystery Song-Railroad-Wild Side Of Life-Rollin' Home-Again And Again-Slow Train / Belavista Man / The Party Aint Over Yet / Gerdundula / Roll Over Lay Down / Down Down / Whatever You Want / Rockin' All Over The World - What Youre Proposing-Down The Dustpipe-Little Lady-Red Sky-Dear John-Big Fat Mama / Burning Bridges / Juniors Wailing-Rock 'N' Roll Music-Bye Bye Johnny. The concert was filmed for a DVD release by Warner Music Vision in November.

11th May  A 3 hour Quo special is to be broadcast by the Belgian Rock Radio station Classic21 (click here for more details) on Sunday the 14th May at 9 to 12 o'clock European Time (8 to 11 UK time).  The special will include interviews with Francis & Rick from their current Australian tour and feature a selection of rare material.  

8th May  Another Quo compilation CD - with the title "Colour Collection" - is due to be released in German on the 2nd June by Mercury.  It has the same track listing as the Dutch "Classic Status Quo" CD from 2000 (click here to see picture).

4th May  A second Quo CD compilation has been issued through Marks & Spencer - "Rockin' All Over The World" (Marks & Spencer MS2035) click here to see picture.

30th April  A double CD package of material from 1968-1971 with the title "Pictures Of Matchstick Men" (Castle Pulse PDSDD 131) was released through the Asda supermarket earlier this month.  The budget release is on sale for 3.97 (5.65) and includes a previously un-issued version of "Spicks And Specks" (click here to see picture).

29th April  Universal Music are planning to release a 2 CD set of Quo's material from the BBC radio station archive.  CD 1 is to be made up of 'session' recordings and CD 2 is to be made up of a selection of 'live' recordings. 

28th April  A second 'greatest hits' DVD - XS All Areas 2 - is planned for September later this year.

24th April  "The Party Ain't Over Yet" CD album was today released in Australia as a limited edition 2 CD set (Sanctuary SANDD389).  With the bonus CD including single b-sides, "The Party Ain't Over Yet" video, the "Mystery Song" medley (from Liverpool Pops) and a picture gallery (click here to see picture).  On the 13th May the "Under The Influence" album CD (Rajon CDR0655) is due to be re-issued in Australia.

19th April  The "Under The Influence" album has been re-issued (again) in Germany earlier this month - with the title "Influence Of Matchstick Men" (EuroTrend CD 142.247).  The track listing includes the re-recorded 1999 version of "Pictures Of Matchstick Men" (click here to see picture).

15th April  A copy of Quo's cancelled 7" single "Fakin' The Blues", from 1991, was sold on the Ebay auction website for £1,420 (2,030 euros) this week.

23rd March  "The Party Ain't Over Yet" DVD is to be issued in Japan on the 10th May (Warner Music WPBR90538).

18th March  Eagle Vision are giving the "Famous In The Last Century" DVD (EVDVD 010) a budget priced re-issue on the 10th April.

13th March  "The Status Quo Story" (Mercury 9836134) 2 CD set is now to be released on the 29th May.

12th March  A 40th Anniversary 'coffee table' type picture book is currently being compiled by Bob Young.  The limited edition version of 3,000 copies - including additional pages and a bonus CD is to be priced in the region of 95 (140).  The regular version is to be priced in the region of 20 (30).

26th February  "All That Counts is Love" is number 10 in the Finnish Radio Suomi chart.

12th February  The German WOM chart includes a number of the new remastered CDs - "Ain't Complaining" (number 21), "In The Army Now" (24), "Live Alive Quo" (32), "Thirsty Work" (33), "Rock 'Til You Drop" (37), "Famous In The Last Century" (38) and "Don't Stop" (45).  The chart positions have been achieved on pre-sale figures only - as the release date for the albums is not until 14th February (click here for more details).    

30th January  The latest batch of re-mastered CD albums were released today.

29th January  The UK release of the German re-issue of the "Under The Influence" CD has been put back to the 6th February.

27th January  Two Quo DVDs are to be given Japanese releases - the "Anniversary Waltz" (Tohokushinsha TBD5704) on the 24th February and "Classic Status Quo - The Universal Masters Collection" (Universal Int UIB09035) on the 22nd March.

19th January The German budget
priced re-issue of the "Under The Influence" CD, from last year, has been given a UK release date of the 23rd January (click here to see picture).

14th January  The date for the filming for the planned DVD at the Birmingham N.E.C. is now to be the 21st May.

13th January  A new Quo bootleg - "Basle 2005" - with excellent sound quantity is doing the rounds.  The two CD set includes the new medley and was copied from the radio broadcast of the band's appearance at the Basle Trade Fair Centre on the 10th November last year.
