A planned Christmas single release has been put back until November
2008.issue of the FTMO magazine has been
sent to members of the fan club this week. The magazine includes
an interview with the band - together with interviews with Simon
Porter (the band's manager) and Bob Young.
27th November Mercury in German are due to release a CD compilation
called "Rock Legends" on the 30th November (click here
to see picture).

27th October A CD & DVD release - with the title of "Rare Broadcasts" - is due to be released on the 19th November. The CD is made up of some of the songs from the band's Butlins' Anniversary concert in 1990 and the DVD is the same as "The Ultimate Anthology" DVD released in 2004.
19th October Quo's performance of "Rockin' All Over The World" at 'The Concert For Diana' at Wembley Stadium in London in July is to be included on the DVD of the event due out in November.
13th October The album is this week at number 57 in the Swiss charts.
6th October The setlist from the gig last night in Caen, in France, included the "Beginning Of The End" and "Gravy Train".
5th October Another 'best of' Quo box set is available through the 'Reader's
Digest'. This set is 3 CDs and is called "The Very Best Of Status Quo" (click here
to see picture).
4th October Mercury are to issue (yet) another 'best of' CD collection - "Rock Legends" - on the 9th November.
3rd October The album is this week at number 38 in the Swiss charts and number 61 in the German charts.
2nd October The "Essential Videos" DVD compilation has the same
running order as the "Classic Status Quo - The Universal Masters DVD Collection"
from 2005 and is now to be released at the end of October (click here

30th September The new album has dropped to the number 53 position in the UK charts.

28th July More news on the film project was announced in the national press today. The film is to be called 'Care Factor Zero' - with filming to begin in February next year.
25th July An unofficial Promo CD for the new album is doing the rounds - with the tracks Beginning Of The End / Alright / Pennsylvania Blues Tonight / I Don't Wanna Hurt You Anymore / Electric Arena / Figure Of Eight.
20th July A new single is to be released on the 10th September - a week before the new album is due to be released.
15th July The track listing for the UK version of "In Search Of The Fourth Chord" has been announced and the tracks are:- Beginning Of The End 4:23 / Alright 4:12 / Pennsylvania Blues Tonight 3:44 / I Don't Wanna Hurt You Anymore 4:00 / Electric Arena 5:25 / Gravy Train 3:22 / Figure Of Eight 4:08 / You're The One For Me 3:30 / My Little Heartbreaker 3;50 / Hold Me 4:33 / Saddlin' You 3:42 / Bad News 5:05 / Tongue Tied 4:21 / I Ain't Wasting My Time 3:36. The album is due to be released on the 17th September.

14th May A vinyl copy of the Quo's "Thirsty Work" album (from 1994) was sold on on the Ebay auction website today for 49 (71).

Details of the new studio album have been announced by the band's fan club 'FTMO'.
The album is to be titled "In Search Of The Fourth Chord" (click here
to see picture) and is to be
released on the 10th September on the band's own 'Fourth Chord Records' label.
A special limited edition vinyl issue (PRERELLP) will be available through FTMO only.
14th April The band this week started recording material for their new album which has been given a provisional release date of September later this year.
13th April The release date for the three "Live At The BBC" CDs has been put back.
31st March A copy of the very rare Status Quo video "Off The Road", from 1980, was sold on on the Ebay auction website today for 142 (207).
15th March The latest copy of Quo's cancelled 7" single "Technicolor Dreams" (from 1968) that came up for sale on the Ebay auction website was sold for 550 (803) this week.
8th March The "Pictures Of Matchstick Men" Asda 2 CD set issued last year has been repackaged by W H Smiths and released as "The Essential Collection" (Demon THERBSAN2003).
28th February Sanctuary Records are due to re-issue "The Party Ain't Over Yet" (SMRCD 437) album as a mid-price CD on the 16th April and the "Dog Of Two Head" (SMBCD424) album as a digipack CD on the 23rd April.
27th February Universal Music are planning to release three separate Status Quo "Live At The BBC" CD albums on the 9th April. Volume 1 (Mercury 9847103) is to include the band's concert recorded at the Paris Theatre in London in March 1973 plus a John Peel Radio session from November 1972, Volume 2 (9847104) is from Quo's concert at Wembley Area in London in July 1988 and Volume 3 (9847105) is from the Knebworth appearance in June 1990.
26th February The "Video Biography" DVD release date has been put back to the 21st May.

5th January A re-issue of the CD "Matchstickmen - The Psychedelic Years" from 1999 is to be issued on the 15th January by Sanctuary (SMBCD 408)

Plans to launch a Quo internet TV station have been announced (click here2nd January "The Cover Up" CD compilation - marketed through Woolworths and Tesco shops last summer has today been given a general release by Music Club.
