28th December The "Pictures - 40 Years Of Hits" album is now number 37 in the UK charts - after eight weeks.
24th December Copies of the 'Live Here Now' 2 CD, recorded at the band's concert in Birmingham NEC on Monday - were posted to mail order customers yesterday. The CD had the title "Pictures Live! - Live at Christmas Time Birmingham NEC 22nd December 2008" (Fourth Chord CDLHN50).
21st December The single has dropped out of the Top 40 to the number 61 position and and the album has moved up two places to number 35 in the UK charts.
16th December Copies of the 'Live Here Now' 2 CD, recorded at the band's
concert in Brighton last week - were posted to mail order customers yesterday.
The CD had the title "Pictures Live! - Live at Christmas Time Brighton 12th
December 2008"
(Fourth Chord CDLHN49).
14th December "It's Christmas Time" entered the UK
singles charts at the number 40 position. The "Pictures - 40 Years Of
Hits" album moved up one position to number 37 in the UK chart.
8th December The "It's Christmas Time" single was released in the UK today.
7th December The "Pictures - 40 Years Of Hits" album is now number 38 in the UK charts - after five weeks.

29th November Two more Quo concerts are to receive the Live CD (with download

22nd November The release date for the "It's Christmas Time" single is now to be the 8th December.
16th November The "Pictures - 40 Years Of Hits" album is now number 15 in the UK charts.
9th November The "Pictures - 40 Years Of Hits" album entered the UK charts at the number 8 position.
8th November The b-sides for the "It's Christmas Time" single are to be 7" (UMTV 1793138) "Beginning Of The End" (live) and for the CD (UMTV 1793139) "Pictures Of Matchstick Men" (live) / "Ice In The Sun" (live) and a 'eoke mix' of the 'A' side. The live recordings are from the 'Live at Oxford' CD set.
3rd November The "Pictures - 40 Years Of Hits" compilation was released today.
2nd November The release date for the "It's Christmas Time" single is to
be the 1st December. The single will be available as a CD single, a 7"
limited edition numbered picture disc single and by download (click here
to see picture). It is
the band's 76th single release.
27th October A new compilation Quo CD - called "Star Club" - is due to released on the 14th November by Mercury in Germany.
22nd October The Ipswich Live CD (or download) is now to be recorded on

4th October The 2 CD "Still In Search Of The Forth Chord" (Edel 1840320ERE) set was released in Germany yesterday. The bonus CD was made up of six tracks from the Westonbirt Live CD from July and the "Beginning Of The End" video

27th September The Scooter with Quo single "Jump That Rock (Whatever You
Want)" is due to be released on the 6th October via download on the 27th

3rd September The German company Edel that released "In Search Of The
Fourth Chord" is due to release a 2 CD set version of the album on the 3rd
October (click here
to see picture).
2nd September The release date for the "Pictures - 40 Years Of Hits' compilation has been announced as the 3rd November. The album is to be available in a number of different formats - including a 4 CD set, a 3 CD set (including a DVD and rarities), a 2 CD set and vinyl.

15th August The German techno band Scooter have recorded a version of "Whatever You Want" with Quo called "Jump That Rock (Whatever You Want)" which is due to be released as a single later this year.
13th August The deluxe CD release of the "Dog Of Two Head" from 2003 is to be re-released on the 19th August.
17th July Two new Quo compilation CD albums have been released in Germany
this month - "The Best Of Status Quo" (click here

the Rossman retailer and "Die Grssten Hits" (click here
to see picture) through the
Media Markt retailer.
12th July A 'live' version of "Caroline" filmed at the band's appearance in June 2005 is included on the "Sweden Rock Festival" DVD set due to be released this month.
28th June The "Rare Broadcasts" DVD/CD set from 2007 is to be re-issued as the "Collectors Box Set" (Stormbird SBX2859) on the 11th August. The set also includes a second DVD taken from the John Coghlan interview included as part of the "VideoBiography" DVD set also issued in 2007.
25th June The CD from the Westonbirt concert (on Sunday) was posted out to mail order customers yesterday.
17th June Quo's concert on the 22nd June at Westonbirt, Tetbury is to be

12th June Details of the new compilation CD set "Pictures - 40 Years Of Hits" have been announced in the latest 'FTMO' fan club magazine. The singles compilation is to be issued in November by Universal. Several versions will be available - a 75 track 4 CD collectors edition, a 2 CD set with a video DVD, a 2 CD set and an USB issue. The album is also to include the new song 'It's Christmas Time' which is to be issued as a single in November.
28th May A new Quo compilation CD is available through Woolworths
as part of their 'Worthit!' series called "The Essential Collection" (Universal
WITUNI014). The CD has the same track listing as the
Dutch "Classic Status Quo" CD from 2000

21st March Universal Music has now re-pressed the "Back To Back" CD with the correct 7" single 're-recorded' version of "Going Down Town Tonight".
3rd February The Quo CD compilation "Rock Legends" (Mercury 0602498499085) that was issued in Germany in November last year - is to be given a UK release on the 11th February.
30th January Universal Music is currently re-pressing the "Back To Back" CD from 2006 with the correct 7" single 're-recorded' version of "Going Down Town Tonight".
14th January A book listing Quo's concerts is due to be published
