22nd December The latest issue of the FTMO magazine was posted out to fan club members this week - with news that the band are planning to record a new album in April next year.

11th November  A copy of the band's first album "Picturesque Matchstickable Messages From the Status Quo", released in 1968, was sold for £204 on Ebay this week.

3rd November  A 'live' DVD called "Whatever You Like - Suisse 05" was released in Denmark on the 26th October.  The DVD was filmed at Quo's concert at the Basel Trade Fair, in Switzerland, on the 10th November 2005 (click here to see picture).

19th October "Pictures - Live At Montreux 2009" has entered the BBC DVD Music Chart at the number 2 position.

12th October The "Pictures - Live At Montreux 2009" Blu-ray and DVD sets were released today.

20th September A demo recording of "Rhythm Of Life" (included on the band's "Heavy Traffic" album in 2002) has been published on the Bob Young website (click here ).

31st August A new 3 CD 'best of' compilation CD set "The Status Quo Collection" was issued through the German website welbild.de earlier this month (click here to see picture).

24th August A demo recording of "Another Day" (included on the band's "Heavy Traffic" album in 2002) has been published on the Bob Young website (click here ).

3rd August  The Biography TV channel is due to broadcast the 'Pictures Of Status Quo' documentary on the 15th August (click here for more details).  The programme is also being included on the blu-ray and the DVD deluxe edition of "Pictures - Live At Montreux".

23rd July The contents of the "Pictures - Live At Montreux 2009" DVD has been confirmed as the full setlist from the concert plus an interview with Francis and Rick (click here to see picture).

22nd July The "In Search Of The Fourth Chord" album is to be released in North America on the 15th September by Eagle Rock Entertainment (click here to see picture).

21st July The French Quo Party is planned for the 26th September (click here for details).

20th July
A demo version of Quo's single from 2004 "You'll Come 'Round" has been published on the Bob Young website (click here ).

16th July A 3 CD Quo compilation "The Best Of Status Quo - Rockin' All Over The World" was released by the Reader's Digest in Germany in June (click here for more details).

27th Jun
e  A mid-price re-issue of the "In Search Of The Fourth Chord" CD album was issued in Germany on the 26th June.

13th June  The provisional release date for for the DVD and Blu-ray (Eagle Vision) of Quo's appearance at Montreux in Switzerland (to be filmed on the 16th July) is 12th October 2009.

8th June  The re-issues of the "Picturesque Matchstickable Messages From The Status Quo" and the "Spare Parts" CD albums were released today.

30th May  Mercury records in Germany are to release a double Quo CD with the "On The Level" and the "Quo" albums on the 10th July - as part of their '2 for 1' series (click here to see picture).

28th May  The release date for the CD re-issues of the "Picturesque Matchstickable Messages From The Status Quo" and the "Spare Parts" albums has been put back to the 1st June.

18th May According to an interview (shown here ) Francis Rossi is currently recording a new solo album.

17th May Quo's appearance at Montreax in Switzerland (on the 16th July) is to be filmed for a possible DVD release later this year.

22nd April  The double set CD albums of "Picturesque Matchstickable Messages From The Status Quo" (Sanctuary 1799861) and "Spare Parts" (Sanctuary 1799868) from 2003 are to be re-issued on the 18th May.

12th March  The Quo CD compilation "Classic" (Spectrum Music 5316866) is being re-issued on the 30th March with a new cover design (click here to see picture).

11th March  A copy of Quo's very rare cancelled "Technicolor Dreams" 7" single from 1968 is available on Ebay for £500 (but with with free P&P!) click here for more details.

19th February  Copies of the 'Live Here Now' 2 CD, recorded at the band's concert in Ipswich yesterday - were posted to mail order customers today.  The CD had the title "Pictures Live! - Live at Ipswich Regent Theatre 17/02/09" (Fourth Chord CDLHN47) click here to see picture.

17th January  The "Pictures" album is at the number 3 position in the Swedish chart this week.

10th January  The "Pictures" album is now number 2 in the Swedish chart.

9th January  A limited edition bootleg Picture Disc of the "Piledriver" album (with the fictitious catalogue number Japanese Vertigo RJ-5082-P) was manufactured last year.

5th January  The "Pictures" album has entered the Swedish chart at the number 45 position

4th January The "Pictures - 40 Years Of Hits" has now dropped out of the UK charts - after a eight week chart run.
