18th December Quo's drummer for 12 years Matt Letley is leaving the band after the gig at the London O2 Arena on the 19th December.

17th December The latest issue of the FTMO magazine has been sent to members of the fan club.  The magazine includes tour news, the "Hello Quo!"
premiere and the forthcoming "Bula Quo!" film release.

16th December The "Pictures" live CD and DVD set, originally released in 2009, is to be re-issued as "Pictures - The Essential Collection" by Metro Sound & Vision (METRSV005) on the 18th February next year (click here to see the cover).

9th December Quo's concert at the London O2 Arena on the 19th December is to be given the Live CD (with download option) treatment (click here to see the cover).

8th December Quo's set list at the start of their UK tour was:- Caroline / Paper Plane / Hold You Back / Rain / Mystery Song / Rock 'n' Roll And You / Beginning Of The End / What You're Proposing- Down The Dustpipe-Wild Side Of Life-Railroad-Again And Again-Big Fat Mama / The Oriental / Creeping Up On You / Marguerita Time / Living On An Island / In My Army Now / Roll Over Lay Down / Down Down / Whatever You Want / Rockin' All Over The World - Walking In A Winter Wonderland-Jingle Bell Rock-It's Christmas Time / Burning Bridges.

25th November An original copy of Quo's debut album "Picturesque Matchstickable Messages From The Status Quo" from 1968 sold on the Ebay auction website yesterday for £143 (€178).

16th November More FF dates have been added.

14th November The band's classic "Status Quo Live!" album, that was  released in 1977, received the 'Classic Album' award at the Classic Rock Awards ceremony.

8th November

5th November
"Hello Quo!" entered the UK Music DVD charts at the number 11 position.

3rd November It is official FF concerts next March.

29th October The "Hello Quo!" documentary was released today.

23rd October
The premiere of "Hello Quo!" was held in London's Leicester Square yesterday.  The DVD and Blu-ray releases are to be issued on Monday. 

12th October The "Quid Pro Quo" album has been released in Australia through the Coles supermarket group.  The 2 CD set included the re-recorded version of "Down Down" used for the Coles advert and the  bonus 'official live bootleg' CD.

5th October An original copy of Quo's 1970 "Ma Kelly's Greasy Spoon" album with the limited edition poster sold on the Ebay auction website for £44
(€55).

22nd September
The "Hello Quo!" documentary (click here to see the poster) is to be previewed on the 22nd October in London's Leicester Square.

10th September
Quo's set list at Radio 2's 'Party in the Park' yesterday was:- Caroline / Something 'Bout You Baby I Like / Rain / Rock 'n' Roll 'n' You / In My Army Now / Roll Over Lay Down / Down Down / Whatever You Want / Rockin' All Over The World.

14th August A white label 7" single with a demo version of "Down Down" has been put up for auction (with a minimum bid of £500) on the Ebay website

13th August
 Release details for the forthcoming "Hello Quo!" documentary have been published.  The release date is to be the 29th October and it is to be issued (by Anchor Bay Entertainment) on Blu-ray (ABB 8136), as a 'collector's edition' DVD (ABD 1113) and as a standard DVD (ABD 1095). 

27th July
"The Winner (Podium Mix)" single has been made available as a free download single from main Status Quo website.

26th July The two CD re-issue with the "In Search Of The Fourth Chord" and the "Quid Pro Quo" albums was released in Germany last Friday.  The bonus tracks included were "One By One" and "In The Army Now (2010)".

4th July
A second copy of "The Winner (Podium Mix)" promo CD single was sold on E-Bay yesterday but for £62 (€76).

1st July
A promo CD for the forthcoming "The Winner (Podium Mix)" single was sold last week on the E-Bay auction website for £205 (€255).

27th June  The UK December tour dates have been announced.

13th June A 2 CD set re-issue with the "In Search Of The Fourth Chord" and the "Quid Pro Quo" albums is to be released in Germany on the 20th July.

The next single is to be a re-mixed version of "The Winner (Podium Mix)" available as a download only from the 23rd July (click here to see the cover).

A listing of the all-time best selling artists in the UK 'singles' charts placed Quo at number 27.

31st May
The Quo compilation CD - "Icon" - was released today in Holland (click here to see the cover).

24th May
A Francis Rossi interview in a Swedish magazine has confirmed that the 'frantic four' line up of the band (Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Alan Lancaster and John Coghlan) are to play a number of concerts next March and record an album of new material.

8th May
The latest issue of the FTMO magazine was posted out to fan club members last week.  The magazine reports on last year's UK tour and includes news on the documentary 'Quo Now' due to be screened in September this year.

1st May
The release date for the "Icon" compilation CD is now to be the 31st May.

26th April
An interesting bootleg of the "Dog Of Two Head" album has been pressed.  The bootleg is the original recordings but with the six of the songs digitally re-mixed with an enhanced drum sound.   

25th April
The "Picturesque Matchstickable Messages From The Status Quo" double CD set was re-issued by Universal (0600753374832) in Europe earlier this month.  The CD set was originally released by Sanctuary in 2003.

24th April
The release date for the "Icon" compilation CD has been put back.

12th March
A copy of Quo's 1970 album "Ma Kelly's Greasy Spoon" with the limited edition poster was sold last week on the Ebay auction website for £102 (€120) click here for details.

15th February
A new Quo compilation CD - "Icon" - is due to be released in Holland by Universal Music (L07322) on the 16th March.

31st January
The specialist Dutch company 'Music On Vinyl' is due to re-issue the "Hello!" album on the 24th February. The re-issue includes the non-album song "Joanne" (which was the b-side to the "Caroline" 7" single).

30th January
Another Quo compilation CD is being released in Germany - called "Collection".  The CD is released tomorrow and is  a re-issue of the German compilation the "Castle Masters Collection" from 1991.

29th January
An original copy of Quo's second album "Spare Parts" was sold today on the Ebay auction website for £79 (€95) click here for details.  

11th January
A new Quo singles compilation CD called "Die Grössten Erfolge" (EARMusic 0207330ERE) is due to be released in Germany on the 17th February (click here to see the cover).
