20th December The latest issue of the FTMO magazine has been sent to members of the fan club this week.  The magazine includes an interview with the band - together with interviews with Simon Porter (the band's manager) and Bob Young.

13th November
Quo's set list for their German tour was:- Caroline Paper Plane / Hold You Back / Rain / Looking Out for Caroline / GoGoGo / Rock 'n' Roll 'n' You / Beginning of the End / What You're Proposing-Down the Dustpipe-Wild Side of Life-Railroad-Again and Again / Big Fat Mama / The Oriental / Creepin' Up on You / In The Army Now / Roll Over Lay Down / Down Down / Whatever You Want / Rockin' All Over the World - Junior's Wailing / Rock 'N' Roll Music-Bye Bye Johnny.

12th November Quo's concerts at Hamburg (tonight) and at the London O2 Arena on the 15th December are to be given the Live CD (with download option) treatment.


9th November The BBC2 television station is broadcasting an edited version of the "Hello Quo" documentary and a Quo TOTP special tonight.

5th November
The "Bula Quo!" film DVD & Blu-ray were released in the UK yesterday.

30th October  The "Tokyo Quo" album is to be released as a SHM-CD (Super High Material CD) by Universal Music (UICY-76006) in Japan on the 25th December.

20th October
Edward Soronellasuidal's excellent book "Exceeding Chords' is now available as an E-Book from (click here
). The highly recommended book has been brought up to-date and is available in Spanish or English.  

18th October  Limited edition (of 500 numbered copies) picture disc vinyl pressings of the "Quid Pro Quo" and the "In Search Of The Fourth Chord" albums are being released on the 25th November by Demon records.

17th October The German Edsel label are re-releasing the "Quid Pro Quo" (which will include the bonus live tracks "Paper Plane" and "Softer Ride") and the "In Search Of The Fourth Chord" CD albums on the 28th October. 

14th October The FF 2014 tour dates have been officially announced today.

12th October
Although not officially announced yet dates for the FF 2014 tour have been published on the QuoTicker website (click here).

6th October "The Frantic Four Reunion 2013" album entered the UK charts at the number 37 position.

"Bula Quo!" film, the new drummer Leon Cave, the video for the "GoGoGo" single and the FF concerts in March.

30th September The 'Back2 SQ.1 - The Frantic Four Reunion 2013' releases were issued today.

21st September
 Quo's next single is to be "GoGoGo" from the "Bula Quo!" album.  It is to be a 'download' only release - although promotion copy CDs have been produced.

20th September  An updated version of Bob Young's book 'Still Doin' It' (originally published in October 2006) was published on the 16th September (click here to see the cover).

15th August The release date for the six disc "The Frantic Four Reunion 2013" releases has been put back to the 30th September.

14th August
The "Bula Quo!" film DVD is due to be released on the 4th November.

9th July The "The Frantic Four Reunion 2013 - Live In Glasgow" vinyl album and the "The Frantic Four Reunion 2013 - Live at Hammersmith Apollo" CD album are also to be released on the 14th September.

23rd June "Bula Quo!" dropped to the number 32 position in this week's UK album charts.  The album entered the Danish charts at number 38 and moved up to 27 (from 35) in the Swedish chart.

20th June  The encore for the bonus CD, for the deluxe re-issue of the "Status Quo Live" album being issued next year, has been published on the YouTube website click here. The recording is from a soundboard tape of the band's gig in Sydney, Australia on the 20th November 1974.      

19th June  European charts positions for "Bula Quo!" album are Switzerland - 13, Germany - 17, Austria - 27, Sweden - 35 and Holland - 41.

17th June
The "Videobiography" DVD was given a budget-priced re-issue on the 10th June by Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment (KAL 8230).

16th June The "Bula Quo!" album entered the UK charts at the number 10 position.

10th June The "Bula Quo!" album was released in the UK today.

7th June The latest issue of the FTMO magazine has been sent to members of the fan club.  The magazine includes news about the 
forthcoming "Bula Quo!" film and album release.  Interestingly the possibility of more FF gigs is mentioned.

5th June A six disc "The Frantic Four Reunion 2013" set is to be released on the 14th September.  The set is to be made up of the "Live At Wembley" DVD and Blu-ray, 2 CD "Live At Hammersmith Apollo", a "Live At Wembley" CD and a bonus disc featuring extras from the tour and rehearsals (click here to see the cover).  Separately a vinyl release from the Glasgow FF shows is to be issued.

3rd June The second single from the "Bula Quo!" album is to be "Looking Out For Caroline". 

24th May  It was announced today that Leon Cave is to be the band's new drummer.
 
18th May Universal Music have put back their Quo re-issue plans until 2014 so as not to overlap with the release of the Live DVD in September.  The "Status Quo Live" album (
click here to see the artwork) is due to be issued in March next year.  The 4 CD 'Deluxe Box Edition' includes the "Tokyo Quo" album and a previously unreleased soundboard recording from the gig in Sydney, Australia on the 20th November 1974.  The re-mixed "Rockin' All Over The World" album and the "Piledriver" album re-issue are to be released in June 2014.

16th April  Sadly the Official Quo website messageboard has been closed.  An unofficial messageboard has been set up at click here. 

12th April  The "Bula Bula Quo (Kua Ni Lega)" download single was released today.

8th April  The dates for the UK tour were announced today.

7th April The "Bula Quo!" soundtrack double CD (catalogue number QUOCD007) is now to be released on the 10th June.  There will also be a limited 'collectors edition' available (by mail order only) which will also include a gatefold vinyl LP and 7" single ("Bula Bula Quo! single edit" / "Living On An Island (Fiji Style").  The track "Bula Bula Quo" is to be issued as a single on the 12th April

25th March The "Classic Album Selection" 5 CD set - including the albums "12 Gold Bars", "In The Army", "Hello!", "Blue For You", and "On The Level" - was released today (click here to see the cover).

18th March  The FF tour finished last night at Wembley.

3rd March The "Just Doin' It! Live" DVD, originally released in 2006, is to be re-issued by Eagle Vision Classics on the 20th May.

2nd March The latest issue of the FTMO magazine has been sent to members of the fan club.  The magazine includes an interview with the band about last year's UK tour, a (nearly) farewell to Matt Letley and an interview with the FF members - looking forward to the reunion gigs later this month.

1st March
The nine Live CD's will also be available a bundle (at £150 plus postage) and the London Wembley concert is to be filmed for a DVD & Blu-ray release in September.

28th February
The latest issue of 'Classic Rock' magazine has Quo on the cover - as well as a 10 page article on the band and the magazine CD includes "Rain" from the "Tokyo Quo" album. Quo are also featured in the latest issues of 'Record Collector' and 'Q' magazines.

24th February
All nine FF concerts are to be given the 'Live CD' (with download option) treatment.

23rd February The "Videobiography" DVD set is being re-issued on the 10th June by Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment.

20th February
The "Pictures - The Essential Collection" DVD/CD set was released on Monday.

14th February Record company plans for 2013 include the release of a 4 CD 'Deluxe Box Edition' of the "Status Quo Live" album (to include the "Tokyo Quo" album and a previously unreleased 'live' recording from 1974).  A 3 CD ('Deluxe Edition') set is also to be issued including "Tokyo Quo" as the bonus CD.  "Tokyo Quo" is also to be released as a single CD and as a coloured vinyl LP.  The recently re-mixed "Rockin' All Over The World" album is to be released as part of a 'Deluxe Edition' with the original album and a possible bonus CD.  There is also to be a 'Deluxe Edition' of the "Piledriver" album with a bonus CD.   

7th February
A copy of the red vinyl "Early Status Quo" bootleg LP from 1985 was sold on the Ebay auction website today for £139 (€163).

29th January A Quo 5 CD set - "Classic Album Selection" (Universal Music 5338719) - is to be released on the 25th March.  The albums included are "12 Gold Bars", "In The Army", "Hello!", "Blue For You", and "On The Level".

11th January The soundtrack album for the forthcoming "Bula Quo!" film release (on the 5th July 2013) is to include the "Rockin' All Over The World", "Don't Drive My Car", "Down Down", "Whatever You Want", "Pictures Of Matchstick Men", "Frozen Hero" and "Reality Cheque" - together with a new recording of "Living On An Island" and the new songs "All That Money", "Looking Out For Caroline", "Mystery Island", "GoGoGo", "Run & Hide", "Never Leave A Friend Behind", "Bula Bula Quo", Fiji Time" and "Running Inside My Head".
